The Road to Equality: Transportation, Neighborhoods, & Race in STL – FULL

Description

Hosted by City Faces, an undergraduate student group

In this excursion, you will have the chance to go to Clinton-Peabody, the public housing neighborhood where the City Faces art program began in 1990. You will meet both the kids and volunteers that have built relationships in City Faces and make the program one of the largest community-engaged groups on campus. Learn how to get involved in tutoring, mentoring, girls club, boys club, or community garden through this half-day excursion!

This excursion will be available for up to 15 students.

Note: Students participating in this excursion are expected to bring a UPass since the group will take public transit to the excursion site. If this is an issue, please notify the Meet St. Louis Coordinator at MeetStLouis@wustl.edu, immediately.
