Designing Community-Centric Spaces in St. Louis


Hosted by ArchEngage, an undergraduate student group

This excursion will allow students to explore how spaces in St. Louis are creatively (re)designed to empower local communities. Through tours and activities, students will learn about various local initiatives and opportunities to make a positive difference in St. Louis’ urban landscape. We will visit the Creative Exchange Lab and Urban Harvest.

This excursion will be available for up to 25 students.

Physical Requirements: 

  • 1-2 miles of walking
  • Closed-toe shoes
  • Allergy medication if allergic to pollen or bees
  • Sunscreen/sunglasses/hat/water as needed

Note: Students participating in this excursion are expected to bring a UPass since the group will take public transit to the excursion site. If this is an issue, please notify the Meet St. Louis Coordinator at, immediately.
