Hosted by Students Organ Donation Advocates (SODA), an undergraduate student group
Take a tour of Barnes Jewish Hospital and see the journey patients go through in order to get a transplant. Speak with physicians who work with those awaiting a transplant. Next, we will discuss the journey to receiving and donating an organ and hear from a kidney donor and recipient.
This excursion will be available for up to 10 students.
Physical requirements: The tour will go through the ICU, so students should be prepared and aware of this.
Note: Students participating in this excursion are expected to bring a UPass since the group will take public transit to the excursion site. If this is an issue, please notify the Meet St. Louis Coordinator at MeetStLouis@wustl.edu, immediately.
